Adroiti is building the operating system for community food programmes—not a food distributor or charity, but the infrastructure that local food banks could not build on their own. The platform provides branded storefronts for individual cities, tools for managing inventory, sales, and daily operations, and the support needed to keep affordable goods flowing to families.
The platform serves two audiences. Food bank operators receive the tools needed to run a retail operation—including pricing, stock, fulfilment, and reporting—without building their own technology team. Families with children, elderly people, and others facing food insecurity receive a dignified shopping experience designed around their needs.
The role:
Adroiti is looking for a Senior Full-Stack Developer to help build and scale the platform end-to-end—from customer-facing storefronts to the internal tools that support daily operations. You will work closely with developers and Product Managers, ship new features, own technical decisions, and help keep the platform fast, reliable, and easy to extend.
Your responsibilities:
- Design, build, and maintain features across the full stack, including customer-facing storefronts, administrative tools, and backend services.
- Work with React, Next.js, and GraphQL on the frontend, and Angular and NestJS across relevant services.
- Contribute to the commerce layer built with Vendure, with support provided if the technology is new to you.
- Take ownership of infrastructure and reliability topics, including Azure, CI/CD pipelines, Terraform, and Datadog monitoring.
- Implement and optimise search functionality using Meilisearch or similar technologies.
- Work with job queues, workers, and Redis caching.
- Profile and optimise JavaScript performance, asset delivery, and CDN usage.
- Build responsive and accessible interfaces using Tailwind.
- Work with PostgreSQL on data modelling and performance.
- Collaborate with Product Managers, developers, and stakeholders during planning, demonstrations, and release preparation.
- Continuously improve code quality, architecture, and engineering practices.
What we expect from you:
- Senior-level experience with React, Next.js, and GraphQL.
- Experience with Angular and/or NestJS.
- Strong hands-on experience across the full stack, including Azure infrastructure, monitoring, search indexing, CI/CD configuration, Terraform, Tailwind, PostgreSQL, Redis, job queues, JavaScript profiling, CDN and asset optimisation, and responsive design.
- The ability to work independently, ask questions, and challenge assumptions when needed.
- Excellent communication skills.
Nice to have:
